This record player made for a disappointing Christmas present. The main issue: constant skipping, even after cleaning the (brand new) records and reinstalling the belt drive with the steps suggested by the manufacturer. Everything is plastic. Spend your money on a higher quality unit that has a needle arm balance adjustment or anti-skate.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is 7 for Christmas….I was showing her a really old Fisher price record player that didn’t work very well and she played with it for hours, so I have tons of old kids records and thought she would love to have this in her bedroom….I think she’s going to love it. The sound is what you would expect from the price, but overall looks good right now…..we’ll see what happens at Christmas 🎄
