Don’t buy this EVER!! It’s extremly cheap. Tuners, Pickups and bridge are completely rubbish, can’t hold a tune to save its life. The neck joint is very poorly cut. Electronics are also cheap. Nice red though.

So, after reading numerous reviews on Amazon, I decided to go with this guitar, and trust me that was a huge mistake, at first I got a product whose neck wasn’t properly bolted with the main body(you can see the pic), it’s a defect not that the Screws were not tight. So I decided to return the product, but there was only replacement order, so I went with that and called the customer care number, they told me that only replacement is available, and if you’re not satisfied with the second product, you can return it. Well, guys guess what, there was a whole crack on the neck of the second product😂, now I’m returning it.

My Epiphone SG VE turned up with a broken selector switch, which I believe was fitted broken in the factory. I returned the guitar via Amazon to Dawson’s Music for a full refund, no problems at all. The guitar itself looked lovely, though about 3 shades lighter in colour than the photos published. The body and neck had an “open pore” appearance which does not come across in the photos. The pick ups were clear and responsive (though I couldn’t select the bridge pick up on its own) and the hardware looked fine. The neck was not as smooth & fast as you’d get from a Squier or Ibanez of the same price band and I got the feeling that the production on this is not as good as the two above mentioned guitar makers. I have a Gibson LP, a Fender Strat & Tele, but I also have a Squier Tele and a Greg Bennett Strat for messing around on, and you don’t mind a scratch or ding as they are budget guitars. Even though this budget SG is nice, I don’t believe its as good as a Squier or a Greg Bennett.
